John Henrys, LLC is delighted to announce the opening of "John Henry's", the Oregon District's newest dining establishment. This new restaurant, located at 520 E. Fifth Street, features steaks, chops, seafood, and a lot more. The eclectic, Southern-influenced menu relies heavily on locally acquired meats, dairy, and produce items. The staff utilizes their broad range of talents to fill the bread baskets and dessert cart with an array of delectable house-made items. Also featured is a selection of unique and creative appetizers, such as the "this will change your life" Wild Mushroom Ragout. The full service bar offers a relaxed setting perfect for after work or after dinner gatherings. New Orleans style specialty cocktails are available, as well as a wine list diverse enough to satisfy both the casual wine drinker and the true vinophile. Bar hours are from 3 pm until midnight weekdays and until 2 am Fridays and Saturdays. The Bar Menu is available 3 pm until midnight, and our Dinner Menu is available 5 pm until 10 pm. Parking is available for John Henry's patrons in a lot adjacent to the West dining room (enter from the alley connecting to Sixth Street, between Van Buren & Jackson Streets.) Hope to see you soon! |

| John Henry's has been named in honor of John Henry Sassenberg, well known to many in the Dayton/Miamisburg area. John enjoyed nothing more than hosting a gathering of friends and family that involved good humor, excellent food, and maybe a cocktail or two. |
